Gran Hotel Taoro: Since 1890

The rebirth of a hospitality icon

Gran Hotel Taoro opened in 1890 as the first luxury grand hotel in Spain and has been witness to visiting royals as well as famous individuals, such as Alfonso XIII, the Duke of Kent, and Agatha Christie. It is reborn after a meticulous restoration project that combines history, neoclassical architecture, fine dining, and the utmost in contemporary comfort.

From its unique hillside setting on the Puerto de la Cruz, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Teide and the Atlantic Ocean and is the perfect starting point for exploring the authenticity of northern Tenerife.
